Helping you rise to the occasion without the help of a little blue pill.
It’s all in your head, but not the one you want it to be.
You’re stuck replaying that moment in your head.
You know the one.
The hesitation. The pressure. The split second where your body didn’t respond the way you wanted it to. Now it shows up again and again, right before intimacy, during connection, or the moment you start to feel close. You might be thinking, “Why is this still happening?” “I’ve talked about it enough.” “My doctor says everything looks fine… so why doesn’t it feel fine?”
Therapy may have crossed your mind, but the idea of spending months dissecting every sexual experience sounds exhausting. You don’t want to relive it; You want to move past it. What if the issue isn’t your body…But the way your brain learned to protect you in that moment?
What if there were a way to help your nervous system let go, without getting stuck in the details?
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) can help you take control of your arousal again when you’re interrupted by:
Performance pressure and sexual anxiety
Difficulty achieving or maintaining an erection
Intrusive memories from past sexual experiences
Fear of disappointing a partner
Loss of confidence during intimacy
Overreacting to subtle shifts in arousal
Frustration or irritability around sex
Feeling disconnected from your body
Shame, guilt, or self-blame tied to desire
How ART works:
Your mind doesn’t have to take you out of the moment.
When desire starts to build, your brain should be amplifying sensation, not interrupting it. But sometimes an old experience gets wired into your nervous system, and instead of staying present, your body tightens, hesitates, or pulls away.
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) works directly with how your brain stores these moments.
Sexual experiences, especially the ones tied to pressure, disappointment, or self-doubt, can leave behind images and sensations that quietly resurface at the worst possible time. Not because anything is wrong with you, but because your nervous system learned to brace instead of relax.
ART helps complete that process.
Rather than digging into every detail or reliving past experiences, we work with the felt sense—the images, tension, and sensations your body remembers. Together, we help your brain release what no longer serves you and replace it with experiences that support confidence, ease, and arousal.
You stay in control the entire time.
There is no pressure to disclose anything you don’t want to.
Most men notice meaningful shifts in just 1–5 sessions.
As the old patterns lose their grip, your body learns that it’s safe to stay present again. The mental noise quiets. Anticipation replaces anxiety. Desire has space to rise—naturally, without forcing it.
Beyond our sessions, you’ll also learn practical tools to take with you. These help calm your nervous system, manage performance pressure, and reconnect with your body—so intimacy doesn’t end when the session does.
This isn’t about “fixing” you.
It’s about restoring alignment between your mind and your body— so pleasure, connection, and confidence can return without effort.
When the pressure is gone, arousal knows exactly what to do.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) focuses on how your brain responds, not on repeatedly talking through the past.
Rather than reliving painful moments in detail, ART works directly with the images, sensations, and reactions your body learned at the time. This allows your nervous system to release what’s no longer serving you while keeping the knowledge intact. The process is controlled, contained, and led at your pace. Most men notice meaningful shifts in 1–5 sessions, making ART a focused, efficient approach for reducing mental interference and restoring ease, presence, and confidence.
-
ART and EMDR use similar neurological mechanisms. The difference is in the experience.
ART is typically more contained and less intense, allowing the brain to reprocess experiences without pushing you into emotional overwhelm. Many men find it easier to stay present and regulated throughout the process, rather than feeling flooded or exhausted afterward.
If you’ve tried EMDR and it felt like too much, too activating, or simply not the right fit, ART may offer a more controlled and effective alternative with deeper, longer-lasting results.
-
While ART is a newer modality, it is recognized as evidence-based. Research suggests it can be as effective as, and in some cases more effective than, EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and prolonged exposure due to its targeted and precise approach to reprocessing.
Many patients continue to notice improvement even after sessions end, as the brain continues to integrate the changes without ongoing effort or repeated exposure to distressing material.
-
ART is often most effective when conducted in person, particularly when working with more complex or severe experiences. That said, your location doesn’t need to be a barrier to getting support. During our consultation, we’ll talk through your situation and determine the approach that best fits your needs.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy sessions are designed to give you enough time for real progress, not rushed conversations.
Session length varies based on what you are working on and what your nervous system needs to fully process. While traditional therapy is often limited to 50 minutes, ART frequently works best when we allow more time to complete the reprocessing in a single sitting.
In my practice, session structure is customized. Some patients benefit from integrating ART into standard-length sessions as part of ongoing therapy. Others find that longer sessions allow for deeper, more complete resolution without stopping mid-process. Both approaches are effective, and we will choose what best supports your goals.
During our consultation, we will talk through timing, pacing, and frequency. Some patients prefer weekly sessions, while others choose longer sessions spaced every other week. ART often produces noticeable shifts relatively quickly, which can make the work feel focused and motivating.
We will structure sessions to support progress without adding unnecessary stress. You do not need to fit into a rigid model. The work adapts to you.

Your first Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) session is designed to feel contained, clear, and effective.
Before we begin, I’ll explain how ART works and answer any questions you have so you know exactly what to expect. We’ll talk about what you want to address, set a clear focus for the session, and make sure you feel oriented and in control before starting. Understanding the process helps your nervous system settle and engage more fully in the work.
During the session, I’ll guide you through specific eye movements while you lightly bring the issue to mind. You do not need to recount details or relive painful experiences unless you choose to. The work happens through the brain’s natural ability to reorganize and release what it no longer needs. I’ll be present throughout, guiding the process and adjusting pacing as needed.
Many people notice meaningful shifts even in the first session, though each experience is individual. It’s normal to feel some uncertainty when trying something new, especially if you haven’t worked with a reprocessing or body-based approach before. My role is to create a steady, supportive environment where your brain can do what it already knows how to do.
Some patients come specifically to address a single issue or experience and begin ART right away. Others integrate ART into broader therapeutic goals over time. Either way, the process is tailored to your comfort level, goals, and readiness. If you’re curious about whether ART is the right fit for you, I’m happy to help you decide what makes the most sense for your care.
